At the Univention Summit, 17th January 2013, 160 representatives of partner companies and Univention customers were gathering in Bremen to get informed about the latest developments by Univention and the trends on the IT market.
The focus at this Summit was on UCS 3.1 and the new App Center, the new desktop product Univention Corporate Client (UCC) and the latest Samba integrations. The panel discussion about the chances and challenges of cloud computing became very aliv.
This year, the concert hall "Die Glocke" (The Bell) in the historical center of Bremen provided the stylish backdrop for the Univention Summit.
The Summit was supported by 13 sponsors, among those the Open Source groupware manufacturer Open-Xchange and Zarafa, the high availability specialist SEP, the hardware manufacturer Fujitsu and the data service center specialist SachsenDV, which were presenting their solutions to the visitors in the exhibition area.
