Many manufacturers now also offer their own industry-specific software for Linux.

The Duden Korrektor (spellchecker) application can now be used for OpenOffice.org. The spellchecker features range from spelling mistakes and capitalisation to punctuation and EOS (end of sentence) recognition. Of course, there are also many further features. The vocabulary is drawn from all known books in the Duden range and can be complemented at any time, with the additional possibility of defining exception rules. The orthography complies with the official regulation of 1 August 2006.
Further information can be found on the Duden web site.
