UCS Desktop Virtualization Services is an optionally available additional product for the administration tools of the Linux server operating system Univention Corporate Server (UCS). UCS DVS already includes Univention Corporate Desktop (UCD), which means that the Linux desktop UCD can be used as a virtual desktop without any additional licence fees. UCS Thin Client Services (UCS TCS) are also included for the provision of desktop systems on thin client workstations.
UCS Desktop Virtualization Services, including UCD and UCS TCS are available in graduated prices and cost between 38 and 52 per client for the first year. The maintenance and support costs in the following year range from 15 to 21 per client.
