With Univention Management Console (UMC) UCS provides a central web-application for all administrative tasks. Depending on the server role and installed software, this provides modules for domain management, user and rights administration, software installation or the management of virtualized computers among other things.
UMC offers a rapid, ergonomic web interface and thus realises a convenient single point of administration for the entire IT infrastructure management just as for system settings for servers, desktops, clients and virtualized systems.
UMC supports graded rights models with which different tasks can be assigned to different administrators and corresponding modules or functions can be made available to them. Extensive interfaces and configuration possibilities mean it is easy to expand UMC and adjust it to suit individual requirements.
