The mail component takes on the function of a complete mail server (SMTP, POP, IMAP), which allows the direct sending and receiving of mail as well as the relaying of internal mail via the Univention Corporate Server.
The administration, such as the assignment of mail addresses or aliases to users, is performed centrally via the UCS management system as usual.
