The CeBIT 2012 was a complete success yet again for Univention and the other exhibiting partners. Even though there was no significant increase in visitors to Hall 2, the trade fair days were characterised by a considerably higher number of specialist visitors who headed straight for the Univention Stage and had already investigated the solutions on offer in advance.

There was a very varied programme of presentations every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Among others, the presentations on Samba 4 and its integration in UCS 3.0 as well as presentations about clouds simply couldn’t fail to attract an audience. On Thursday evening, the Open Source scene came together at the booth party to exchange ideas and for networking possibilities in a casual atmosphere.

There were nine Univention partners on our booth this year presenting their UCS-compatible Open Source solutions. The Open Source manufacturers c.a.p.e IT and Open Xchange were Gold partners; the Open Source companies dass it, DECOIT, Digitec, it25, Linet Services, ownCloud and on Line were Silver partners.
